今天是 Kaplan 全班級的辯論比賽
我們為了這個，整個禮拜都在準備
題目是：Should security cameras be placed on every corner of urban streets?
(是否應該在都市街頭的每個角落都設置監視器？)

由於當天才決定我們的論點是正方或反方
所以我們班分成兩組，一組正方，一組反方
各自在網路上蒐集資料，看當天決定是哪個論點，就哪組上台

由於 level 5 只有一班， level 4 有三班
所以我們班對上其中一班level 4，剛好是 Nics 和 June 那班

整個辯論流程是 2分鐘的開場論點、2分鐘的反駁論點、交互答問(Q&A)以及結論
我負責 Q&A 的部分
我們老師 Kevin 真的很好，他教了我們很多技巧
像是在 Q&A 要搶下發言權，不要讓對方一直發言
例如：Executive me. Where is your question?

對方提出統計數據或引用研究結果時，
Where did you find the number? What's the source? Who did this?
Are you just making the number up? I can make the number up too.
或是 The study is too short and inconclusive. We need time to prove it.

以及對方提出關於隱私的質疑時
Does it really matter that the policemen know what kind of toliet paper you buy?

今天的辯論會，我們班是反方，所以我們這組就沒上台
Nics 代表 level 4 在 Q&A 的部分
他們班沒什麼準備，只是推出3個人讓他們孤軍奮戰，一個人要準備正反兩方的論點
而 Nics 竟然只準備正方的論點，真是有夠冒險的

不過我們兩班表現的都很好，這場是全 Kaplan 的班級中最精彩的一場辯論
最後當然還是我們贏啦
因為老師 Kevin 教了我們很多
